Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, credits, and cancellations work for ABR Tutors online tutoring packages and sessions. Please read this policy together with our general terms of service.

1. Session cancellations

  • You can cancel or reschedule a booked session up to 24 hours before the start time without losing your session credit.
  • If you cancel within 24 hours of the session start time, or do not attend the session, the session may be counted as used and the credit will not be refunded.
  • If ABR Tutors needs to cancel a session, we will offer you a replacement session or return the session credit to your account.

2. Monthly packages & resources

  • Monthly packages and access to resources are paid in advance for the selected month.
  • Once your monthly package is active and access to sessions and resources has been granted for that month, fees are generally non-refundable.
  • Unused sessions and access for a particular month expire at the end of that month and do not carry over, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
  • You can choose not to purchase a new package for future months at any time. This will stop new charges, but does not create a refund for the current month.

3. Technical issues & tutor availability

  • If a session cannot be completed because of a technical problem on our side or because a tutor is unavailable, we will reschedule the session or return the credit for that session to your account.
  • If the issue is on the learner's side (for example, internet connectivity or device problems), we will work with you in good faith to find a reasonable solution, but we are not obliged to provide a cash refund.

4. Incorrect charges & exceptional circumstances

  • If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, please contact us within 7 days of the payment so that we can investigate.
  • Where an error has been made on our side, we will correct it by refunding the amount or applying a credit, depending on what is appropriate.
  • In exceptional circumstances (for example, serious medical or family reasons), we may, at our discretion, offer a partial or full refund or additional credits.

5. How to request a cancellation or refund

To cancel a session, manage your package, or query a charge, please contact us using one of the following:

When you contact us, please include the learner's full name, the date and time of the session or payment, and a brief explanation so that we can assist you as quickly as possible.

6. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will apply to future purchases and will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
